The Atelier
One maker. Every stitch.
A single-maker atelier. Every piece cut, stitched, and finished by one pair of hands, start to finish.
Nothing is stocked. Each object begins as a conversation, and is shaped from there: the leather, the hardware, the scale, considered around the person who will carry it.
Materials are chosen for what they become, not what they are new. Full-grain, top-grain, brass, waxed thread: components selected to develop, not to stay the same.
The aim is permanence, not novelty. Objects built to be used, not preserved. Sculpted by hand. Built for permanence.
The Craft
Saddle-stitched, by hand.
Two needles, one waxed thread, an interlocking stitch through every hole. If one thread wears through, the other holds the seam in place.
